What is Protein Water?

Protein water is protein in its lightest form. Instead of a heavy, creamy shake, you get a clear, juice-style drink with the protein your body needs to recover. Orbit Protein Water uses hydrolysed whey isolate, which is broken down for rapid, ultra-fast absorption, and pairs it with marine collagen to support your skin, joints and connective tissue.

Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is whey that has been filtered to remove most of the fat, lactose and carbohydrate. What's left is a high protein, low everything else powder, which is why this tub has 0g fat, 0g sugar and under 1g of carbs per serve.

Hydrolysed whey takes it one step further. The protein is pre-broken into smaller pieces called peptides, so your body has less work to do before it can absorb them. Think of it as protein that's already been partly digested for you.

Why hydrolysed?

• Rapid absorption. Smaller peptides move through digestion quickly, which makes it a great fit for post-training recovery.
• Clear, not cloudy. Hydrolysed isolate dissolves into a see-through drink. Standard concentrates and most isolates can't do that, which is why they turn milky or clump.
• Light on the stomach. Isolate has most of the lactose and fat filtered out, and hydrolysing makes it even easier to get down. Many people who find thick shakes heavy are happy with a protein water.
• Clean macros. You get 25g of protein for 105 calories, with no sugar and no fat.

How it compares:

• Whey concentrate is the most common and cheapest form, but it contains more fat and lactose and doesn't dissolve clear.
• Whey isolate is purer and lower in lactose and fat, but it's not pre-digested.
• Casein digests slowly and is thick and creamy, so it suits a different job (like before bed) but not a refreshing post-workout drink.
• Plant proteins can be a good option, but they usually don't mix clear and often have a gritty texture.

That's why we chose hydrolysed whey isolate as the base: it's fast, clean and clear.

What are the benefits of Marine Collagen Peptides?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body. It's a structural protein found in your skin, joints, tendons and connective tissue. From our 30s onwards, your body makes less of it, which is one reason recovery and skin quality change as we age.

Orbit Protein Water includes Marine Collagen Peptides, which are collagen broken down into small, easily absorbed pieces. Collagen peptides are commonly used to:

• Support skin hydration and elasticity
• Support joint comfort and mobility
• Support connective tissue, including tendons and ligaments, which take a lot of load in training
• Support healthy hair and nails

We've also added Vitamin C (150mg per serve) because your body needs it to make its own collagen, and Hyaluronic Acid to support skin hydration from within.

Why electrolytes?

Directions
